Watch the gravity-defying stunts of the motorcyclists competing in the North West 200. The International North West 200 is Ireland's largest outdoor motorcycling racing event, attracting crowds in excess of 150,000 as well as the biggest names in the sport. A week long event that runs 8-15 May 2010 in Portrush around the Causeway Coast in County Antrim. Rent a campervan and spectate roadside as the super-fast motor cycle race through the roads in the towns of Portrush, Portstewart and Coleraine. But these aren't just any old roads, this circuit is considered by many to be amongst the fastest in the world!

Yacht Racing

Cork Week.

Drive your campervan into Cork and experience the buzz of Ireland's largest regatta, set amidst the harbour of Ireland's pulsating second city. Cork Week held every two years and this year runs 10 July - 16 July 2010. Even if you are not a sailor, witness the spectacle as Ireland's largest sailing regatta attracts yachts from across the world, bringing the coastline along County Cork alive. Onshore the craic is mighty as merry sailors descend on the city's streets to create a brilliant atmosphere. Cork City was voted by Lonely Planet as one of the top 10 cities to visit in 2010.
Horse racing is in the blood in Ireland! Rent a campervan and head to the west of Ireland for the Galway Races. Situated on the outskirts of Galway city, in the West of Ireland, the Galway Racecourse is the place to be.

Golf.

Cycling.
Ireland has its own Tour de France as well! Cyclists from Europe and the US will compete in Cycling Tour of Ireland, an adrenaline-pumping tour around much of Ireland. Follow the route in your campervan. Kicking off at Kilkenny Castle, the route will take in some of the most spectacular scenery in Ireland. 01 August 2010 - 31 August 2010.

All Ireland Gaelic Football.

Every county in Ireland is involved in the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, the premier "knockout" competition in the game of Gaelic football played in Ireland run by the GAA. As you drive round Ireland in your campervan, look out for all the individual county flags and emblems. The Irish are consumed with fierce competitiveness county by county and the drama of the championship all summer long. Visit Ireland in September and you will feel the atmosphere as Dublin City comes to a standstill as the final is played in Croke Park, Dublin as the teams compete to win the Sam Maguire Cup.
