Only one hours drive from Galway city, take a ferry across to Inis Mor, the largest of the Aran Islands. Croagh Patrick is situated 5 miles from the picturesque town of Westport, County Mayo. The tradition of pilgrimage to this holy mountain stretches back over 5,000 years from the Stone Age to the present day. It is one of the best known pilgrimage sites in the world and on Reek Sunday, the last Sunday in July, welcomes over 25,000 pilgrims visit the Reek.
