Not to be outdone, the competition at the Hillsborough Oyster Festival in County Down will be fierce this year. Visitors will watch to witness if anyone can beat the Guinness World Record for oyster eating set at the 2009 festival when the Champion ate 233 oysters in three minutes! A street festival that runs 2 - 05 September. Camping is available close by at Lakeside Caravan Park.
