5 Campervan Facts We Learn from Breaking Bad

[powerpress]

Any Breaking Bad fans will remember the iconic campervan that the boys bought for their shenanigans in the desert. Now whilst here at Bunk we’d like to think that none of our customers fancy using one of our campervans to follow in their footsteps, we do think there’s a lot that we can learn from Jesse Pinkman and Walter White’s adventures in their motorhome.

Here’s some facts to take away from this action-packed American series that no one can get enough of.

Number 1 – A campervan gives you privacy

It’s really up to you what you do on your campervan holiday. If Jesse and Walter could get away with their antics, it’s a good test of the total privacy you get from a campervan…

Number 2 – Get Off the Beaten Track

So the UK might not have the desolate landscapes that we see in Breaking Bad, but you can still get pretty well off the beaten path if you want a rural escape in your camper. The Yorkshire Moors and the Scottish Highlands have some really remote areas where you can embrace the elements with a few days wild camping.

Like Jesse and Walter’s weekends away in the desert, you can go several days without having to refill on supplies such as gas, water, fuel and food. With a comfy bed, fully equipped kitchen, shower, toilet, heating & electricity, a campervan is your go anywhere vehicle, giving you a chance to really explore.

Number 3 – Look After Your Vehicle

Always check that the oil, fluids and of course the battery are topped up sufficiently for your road trip before you leave…and never leave the keys in the ignition overnight! Otherwise you might end up stuck in the middle of nowhere just like Walter and Jesse did. Thankfully though, the UK doesn’t have any deserts like the one that they found themselves stranded in but you can still be a long walk from a garage or petrol station if you find yourself low on fuel.

At Bunk Campers, all of our campers & motorhomes for hire undergo a 32 point check before you hit the road to ensure your van is ready for your holiday.

Number 4 – Campervan Hire is an Affordable Option

Of course before they went big time the main consideration Walter and Jesse had in using their RV was an affordable base with no fixed location. Well, it’s no different for campervan holidays. With a motorhome you get your transport and accommodation in one, making great savings on your UK break compared to car hire and b&b, whilst being able to visit wherever you like at no extra cost.

Number 5 – A Camper Is Your Window To A World Of Activity

Breaking Bad really took campervans to the limits, but it just goes to show that they really are suitable for any kind of escape. Whether a beach break on the coast or a walking holiday up in the mountains, a campervan can take you there and is a reliable vehicle for any challenge!

So if you want an adventure holiday with family and friends, a campervan holiday is certainly up to the challenge. Bringing you privacy, flexibility and a chance to escape like the Breaking Bad boys, a campervan is the conduit to all the best UK holidays and we hope you’ll come up with a better way to spend your time away!

At Bunk Campers we have a great range of modern and practical vehicles to suit any group size and road trip so that you can escape for less this year.
