We advise staying in campsites during your motorhome hire as Wild Camping is not strictly legal across the UK & Ireland. It can be tolerated providing you are acting safe and responsibly and not parking on private property, but we recommend checking with the land owner before wild camping. This depends heavily on usage, miles driven etc. For safety and comfort we do recommend staying at campsites where you can recharge the leisure battery. You should charge the battery from a campsite every 2-3 days. If the battery repeatedly dies this can cause the battery to blow so we would advise avoiding this happening.
We recommend staying in campsites at least every 2-3 nights to plug your camper into mains electric and recharge the batteries. We do advise staying at campsites every night.
Wild camping, if done correctly is safe. Just be sure to take the usual precautions. Always let someone know where you are, what you are doing and when you will return. If you don’t feel safe or sure about procedures, or if you prefer to have a shower and toilet, then perhaps wild camping isn’t for you; head to a campsite instead.

240v sockets will not operate unless the vehicle is connected to an outside electricity supply. We recommend staying at campsites so access this facility and ensure your leisure battery remains charged.
