The fee is £20 per night of hire.
If the camper was returned in the same condition without damage, the deposit will be released within 28 days to your account. This isn’t a refund so you will not see this as a transaction, just higher funds available at the time it has been processed. If you haven’t seen it after 28 days, please contact your bank.
A 30% deposit is charged to secure the booking when the pick-up date is more than 28 days away. If you are booking within 28 days of travel, the full amount is charged.
This is a pre-authorised amount on a credit or debit card and acts as the insurance excess. In the event of damage during your rental, we can charge up to the amount held as the security deposit.
We can charge for any new damage caused during your hire. It can also be charged for cleaning fees which may apply when your camper is assessed on return.
The insurer is responsible for determining who is a fault for an accident. If you have an accident your deposit will be held until the insurer has confirmed that the 3rd party was at fault. At this point the deposit will be released back to you.
The standard deposit is £2000 and can be reduced by paying a nightly fee.
The standard liability (excess) is £2000/€ You can reduce this to £500/€500 or £250/€250 with a nightly fee. The rates on our website. If you purchase the value pack this includes the reduced excess to £250. the cover is the same on all options but your liability in the event of damage charges is lower when you have reduced the deposit. Please note this is for drivers 25-75 years old only.
