Hire a campervan and go Romantic Glamping this Valentine’s Day

Campervan hire with couple over Valentine's Day

The turn of the new year brings new plans and new memories. With Valentine’s Day fast approaching, a romantic glamping motorhome hire holiday could be the perfect way to make it a celebration to remember. If you’re not the most naturally romantic person at heart but are searching for some inspiration… you can thank us later!

What motorhome is the most romantic?

With our wide range of 2 – 6 berth motorhomes, we have the perfect vehicle for you (yes, you can bring the kids and pets if you want!).  It all just depends on what you want for your getaway.

If you don’t mind making your bed up each night, the Nomad is perfect for a budget break.

If a compact but more luxurious motorhome is desired, the Aero and the Aero Plus are our most popular vehicles for 2 and come with a fixed bed and a bathroom including a shower and a toilet. They both have a spacious living area, stylish kitchen, and mood lighting, and are compact and economical to drive.

If space and having the ultimate in comfort is what you love, then splash out on the Vista Plus or Europa which sleeps 4 people, and the Grande sleeps 6 and would be perfect for a family or a couple of friends.

What should I do on my romantic getaway?

Just want to get away from it all? Head to the Fairy Pools at the Isle of Skye, one of the beautiful far corners of Scotland and discover the striking blue water and waterfalls. Feel free to jump in for a swim but might be an idea to have a hot cup of tea for when you get out! Warm-up afterwards with a special homecooked meal for 2 in your motorhome, some fresh pasta, wine, cheese, and chocolate should cover all the bases for a romantic night with your partner.

If hiking is your thing, the Lake District is a perfect romantic location. Walking, lake boat trips, cycling or running are perfect activities to get up to in this slice of English heaven. At night, the Lake District is one of the darkest areas in the UK. Once night falls, go to a secluded spot and witness the starry skies overhead.

If you want a truly liberating experience why not try off-grid camping. Wild with Consent gives you the chance to connect to a rural farm or landowner who provides permission for only you to stay on their land. Get off the beaten track and escape into the privacy and seclusion of the wild with that special someone on your hunt for a unique adventure.

Where should I go on Valentine’s Day?

Explore deserted beaches, take long walks up the mountains or through pinewoods, and discover rare wildlife. Explore the picturesque English countryside in the Cotswolds and experience true romance in the quaint towns and charming villages. Romantic days here are easy to find with plenty of romantic gardens and walks to explore here. Get some action into your day at one of the many activity centres, or treat yourself and your partner to some special downtime at a relaxing spa experience. Alternatively, just find a secluded spot outdoors and have a good old-fashioned picnic – taking in the stunning views!

Fall in love with the English seaside by visiting Cornwall. With its stunning white sandy beaches, crystal waters and dramatic rugged cliffs, what’s not to love? If you’re a thrill-seeker, try your hand at surfing at Watergate Bay, or simply take in the unspoilt heritage coastline of St Agnes. Finish off your romantic getaway by stopping by one of the UK’s most famous landmarks, Land’s End. For more Cornwall inspiration, check out our unmissable 10 day itinerary here.

Finally, discover the romance of the Mourne Mountains in Northern Ireland. Breathe
